Every Person Has a Story
Bipolar disorder does not look the same in every person. This section is being developed to share individual lived experiences without reducing anyone to a diagnosis.
This section will include:
- Personal experiences from people living with bipolar disorder
- Stories about treatment, recovery, relationships, work, family, and everyday life
- Experiences of stigma, misunderstanding, and being judged by a diagnosis
- Perspectives that show how differently bipolar disorder can affect individual lives
- Clearly identified lived experience alongside reliable research when relevant
Stories will be added carefully as this section develops. No single person's experience will be presented as representative of everyone with bipolar disorder.
